Whis software is allowed in Lupo PenSuite?

Hi,

I do not understand exactly which software may be included/is allowed in Lupo PenSuite. Is it necessary to ask the author if it's allowed to include his software? Or do I have to read every license of every program I'd like to propose to find statements like "this software may be included in every type of software collection if it's not beeing modified"?

For example, did you asks Irfan from IrfanView if he agrees of beeing included? Or hdtune.com?

I am just asking to be sure not to propose any program which has no chance of beeing included because of license violations or other terms.

Welcome,
for software included in Lupo PenSuite we have asked the authorization from the respective owners. It is needed for us, that redistribute software of other authors, but not needed for Lupo PenSuite users.
In general, as said in our license, "all applications available are free of charge for non-commercial use". So you can use all software included in Lupo collections for free, with the limitation of few apps that are not free for commercial use (to help users we have reported it in the software page, this is an example).

Ok, thanks, that means that I can propose any free software for beeing included in Lupo PenSuite and you have the work of getting the authorization from the author...

Are you still interested in getting some proposals for new software, or do you have already endless lists with programs/tools where any new proposal disappears/has no chance of beeing included?

Yes, any new recommended software is welcome. First of all you can check if programs are already present in our database:

In general you can recommend any free portable software you know. You can also try to recommend free not portable software and we can try to contact the author to portablize it.
