proxy for all software
Hi board!
I love the lupo penSuite compilation. It is my favourite - having tried portableApps and geek.menu before. But there is one drawback with all the portable software that needs internet connection: proxy configuration.
Some software has "internet settings", some even don't.
And I have to use a proxy on some locations I'd like to use my stick (here: at work), on others I don't (here: at home).
I did install the proxy switching plugin for firefox, but that only helps for browsing. And I don't want to change settings of all of my software each time I use it...
Does any one of you have some good ideas on how to deal with this?

Re: proxy for all software
Hi Lupo, hi all!
I looked at the above apps but couldn't find anything suitable. I am not looking for anonymous surfing (tor). And the other two proxy tools either only support http(s) (and not: any tcp port, any protocol) or cannot be configured to work on several ports or cannot be configured to just do nothing (just like having no proxy for internet access).
Let me describe again, what I'm looking for:
I work as a consultant in several companies and at home. Most companies have some corporate proxy server, at home I do not have one at all. In order to use my portable apps, I currently need to manually switch proxy settings in firefox, thunderbird, clamav and all the other apps and I do not have any internet access on all those apps that do not have a UI for proxy settings. So I am looking for a tool that kind of "redirects" internet traffic to a given proxy so I can change proxy settings in one central tool.

Re: proxy for all software
I recommended you Tor, because in that portable package there is also Privoxy. You can try this other version of portable Tor, that includes both Privoxy and Polipo for web proxy:

Otherwise, I saw that in the Pro version of NetSetMan there are features for proxy, you can see if it is what you need (even if it is not free):
