Update problem
Hi!
I'm trying to update Lupo_PenSuite_v6.62_Full to Lupo_PenSuite_v6.63_Full but the update fails.
I’m using Vista and I have other portable applications on the “Apps folder”.
Thanks.

Re: Update problem
Firstly, have you used the Setting Updater? from the new release or the previous one?
It's important that all additional apps you add to the suite are put in the Plus folder (not in Apps). It's also important that you close the Suite and all other portable apps before running the Setting Updater.
You can try to update the Suite again and then tell me if you have problems again.

Re: Update problem
1) I used the Setting Updater from the new release.
2) All additional apps are placed in the Plus folder.
3) I close the Suite and all other portable apps before running the Setting Updater.
4) When the update ends a "successfully transfer" appears.
But when I start ASuite a error message displaying "No active document" appears.
The only solution is to copy the ASuite.xml file in the Launcher folder, from the old version to the new one. Is this enough?

Re: Update problem
This is enough, but only because in this version 6.63 there aren't new apps (and so new links in the Suite menu), so it remains the same of the previous release.
With future releases, when you will do the settings update, please send us a message if you will have problems again. Eventually check the ASuite.xml file after the update and verify the differences between the old and the new one.

Re: Update problem
With this new version 6.65 we have added a new tool, the Suite Manager, and we have replaced the updater in a "Import Settings" tool. This because the migration to a new release of the Suite is not a normal update: you create a new folder with the new Suite and then you import settings from the older version (for many reasons the process doesn't overwrite the new version on the old one, but import only some setting files).
This introduction to precise why in the usb drive there was 2 suite folders (the old and the new releases). The error when you tried to remove the old folder was caused by Windows, that doesn't allow to remove files in use.
During this settings transition you have to close all Suite applications, also the launcher from the taskbar (of all Suite releases you use).
Now, you have correctly removed the old folder and keep the new one. To start the new release you have to click on the "Start.exe" launcher included in the new Suite folder. Keep in mind that the first time you run a new Suite version, it could need also a couple of minutes to start because of it have to create some cache files that make next starts fast.

Re: Update problem
Small bug when updating from 6.6.4 to 6.6.5 (same was by 6.6.3 to 6.6.4)
Suite Manager's Import Settings command does not update FreeCommander settings.
