x64 Software Inspection
Because of Lupo73 is considering to create a pack with 64 bit software for Lupo PenSuite he asked me to inspect some 64 bit software packages. This is the result of 64 bit software check of the following applications:
CCleaner
Although I read and heard some different information, CCleaner does not install a x64 version. Windows stores the program files in 'C:\Program Files (x86)' and Process Explorer proofed: CCleaner.exe is a 32 bit platform program.
If you find out something different, please let us know.
Defraggler and Recuva
Defraggler uses different executable files on x64 platforms: Defraggler64.exe and df64.exe. Therefore a launcher has to decide - dependend on the platform - the correct executable file.
Similar to Defraggler Recuva uses one different executable file: Recuva64.exe. The idea with the launcher would be a good idea here, too.
Q-Dir
Q-Dir uses one different executable file, too. But different to the files above executable's name does not end with '64': Q-Dir.exe.
It might be no problem to rename this file to Q-Dir64.exe and store this file in the same folder as the 32 bit executable. I won't mention the loader idea here another time. :-)
Best regards
Fred

Re: x64 Software Inspection
Good.. we could consider to create this launcher (if authors allow us to do it) and we could consider if create a 64 bit pack and eventually also to offer a separated download link in their relative pages.
